GdS: Milan reach agreement with United States for Pulisic’s call-up – the latest

Considering he is just returning from injury, AC Milan are hoping to keep Christian Pulisic at the club during the international break.

There have been many reasons to be frustrated at Milan recently, and the injury issues have been the top one. Across the pitch, the Rossoneri have suffered, and several returned from the international break with problems.

No USMNT for Pulisic

Perhaps the most annoying case was that of Pulisic, who was seen to be a risk after the first friendly. Yet, he still played in the second game, and was injured within the first half, something which rightly frustrated the Diavolo.

So, with him returning to speed, the club would prefer him to remain at Milanello during the next international break, rather than heading to America for two more friendlies. So conversations have been taking place.

Now, Gazzetta dello Sport write that an agreement has been found with the National Team. The exact arangement has not been specified, however, it seems that the star will not travel for the international games, despite reports suggesting he is back ready to play.

For what it is worth, conversations are still taking place with the French Federation about Adrien Raiot’s inclusion in the break. However, with two World Cup qualifiers, there are doubts about whether the request will be heard.
