Alex Jimenez, Christian Pulisic and Warren Bondo have been left out of the squads for the upcoming friendlies against Leeds United and Chelsea, according to a report.
Milan have just two friendly games left of their pre-season, taking on Leeds United later today and then Chelsea tomorrow. Given the back-to-back schedule, many players will get the chance and Ardon Jashari is even set to get his debut today.
However, as pointed out by Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), Jimenez and Pulisic have been left out of the squad due to injuries. The American suffered a knock to his ankle in the game against Liverpool and while recovery is going well, he will not be risked this weekend.
In addition to them, Bondo has also been left out as he’s just one step away from joining Cremonese on loan. This has resulted in Emanuele Sala getting the call-up to the first team, set to feature for the first time this pre-season.
Today’s game is scheduled for 16:00 CEST and it will be the same kick-off time against Chelsea tomorrow. As said, these two games are the final push for Milan ahead of the Coppa Italia clash against Bari next weekend.
