AC Milan are currently expected to be without star man Christian Pulisic for Saturday’s game at San Siro against Lazio.
As La Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below) report this morning, there’s some concern at Milan regarding Pulisic’s condition, as he pulled out of training yesterday with muscle discomfort in the second session since his derby heroics on Sunday.
It’s unlikely to be anything serious for the American, but the situation will be monitored with the utmost caution given his importance. As a result, it cannot be ruled out that he will sit out Saturday’s game against Lazio entirely.
Other news
While Pulisic, will be evaluated on a daily basis and therefore his presence against the Biancocelesti cannot be 100% guaranteed, there is a more positive update on Alexis Saelemaekers, who also had to leave training yesterday due to a back problem.

His condition is not a major concern and he should be back on the right flank against Lazio, which is certainly a sight of relief for Massimiliano Allegri given that Zachary Athekame – his only natural back-up – could be out for a few weeks.
Santiago Gimenez is very likely to be absent, having not yet recovered from an ankle injury and continuing to train separately at Milanello. If he doesn’t return to training with the group today, the Mexican striker – who has now been out for a month – will not be there against Maurizio Sarri’s men.
