GdS: Mystery continues to surround Milan vs. Como – when it could be played

1 week ago 16

The game between AC Milan and Como has caused no end of stress, and there is still no date locked in for when it will be played.

In case you missed the news, the match against Como at San Siro has been postponed due to the 2026 Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics, which will make the usual stadium unusable for the Rossoneri and the Nerazzurri. The plan became to play the game in Australia, but that then fell apart.

At the moment there is still no precise date for Milan-Como, but La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanPress) takes stock of the various possibilities. Everything will depend on Inter’s path in the Champions League, and Milan-Como will be at San Siro.

If the Nerazzurri qualify for the round of 16 or finish between 9th and 16th place (in which case they would play the return leg at home in the play-offs), the Rossoneri’s match would be played in the middle of the week from 16th to 21st February.

If Inter were to finish between 17th and 24th place in the Champions League, Milan’s match would be played in the middle of the following week, between 23rd and 28th February. At last, therefore, we are close to finding out when the game will actually take place.
