AC Milan boss Massimiliano Allegri has seemingly resolved a couple of his selection doubts on the day of the game against Parma.
For Milan the mission tonight is a rather simple one: win to retake top spot, albeit potentially temporarily while waiting for the results of Napoli, Roma and Inter on Sunday. However, it will not be simple on the field, with victories away against Parma hard to come by.
Parma vs. Milan: Predicted starting XIs
The good news from the week is that Christian Pulisic has recovered and will be in the matchday squad, but will start on the bench. Adrien Rabiot is not back yet, while Santiago Gimenez will miss out with an ankle issue.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Allegri will go with Rafael Leao and Christopher Nkunku as the front two, hoping that the latter gets his first league goal. Pulisic will be able to lend a hand during the game, as mentioned.
Pervis Estupinan is expected to come back in on the left side, with Alexis Saelemaekers on the opposite flank. The midfield trio is down as Youssouf Fofana, Luka Modric and Samuele Ricci.
The three-man defence will feature Koni De Winter again with Fikayo Tomori not at 100%. Matteo Gabbia and Strahinja Pavlovic keep their spots, ahead of the captain Mike Maignan in goal.
