GdS: Predicted XIs for Udinese vs. Milan – final midfield spot decided

1 hour ago 31

AC Milan boss Massimiliano Allegri has apparently settled on the team that he will field against Udinese tonight.

It is an early-season battle between fourth and fifth in the table at the Bluenergy Stadium, highlighting how Milan will have to be at their best to continue their positive response after losing to Cremonese.

Udinese vs. Milan: Predicted XIs

As has been previously confirmed by the head coach, Leao will miss the game as he continues to recover from a calf problem, and he is targeting the Napoli match next weekend. Mike Maignan will also be out with an injury to the same muscle.

So, La Gazzetta dello Sport report that Pietro Terracciano will come in to replace the Frenchman between the posts. Fikayo Tomori, Matteo Gabbia (who should be the captain) and Strahinja Pavlovic are expected to be the back three.

Alexis Saelemaekers and Pervis Estupinan are down as the wing-backs either side of a midfield trio of Youssouf Fofana, Luka Modric and Adrien Rabiot. Santiago Gimenez and Christian Pulisic are tipped to lead the line as the front two.

The likes of Koni De Winter, Samuele Ricci, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Christopher Nkunku are all available to lend a hand off the bench. Speaking of which, Allegri will not be in the dug-out as he serves a one-match ban after getting sent off against Bologna.

Predicted Milan XI (3-5-2): Terracciano; Tomori, Gabbia, Pavlovic; Saelemaekers, Fofana, Modric, Rabiot, Estupinan; Gimenez, Pulisic.

Predicted Udinese XI (3-5-2): Sava; Bertola, Kristensen, Solet; Ehizibue, Piotrowski, Karlstrom, Atta, Kamara; Davis, Bravo.
