AC Milan and Juventus could not get one over on the other on Sunday night. Perhaps a frustrating one, but a sign that both will go to the top, also.
There are several outcomes from Milan’s draw with Juventus this weekend. Before the game, you would probably have taken a point, considering the circumstances. Away from home, no support from the Curva, a difficult one.
However, after the game, a point feels a little unrewarding. After all, the Rossoneri certainly could have gotten all three points, even if there was a big chance for the Bianconeri. It is one of those games. In the future, it may become a regret. For now, though, it is a solid point.
Who is Scudetto-worthy?
This afternoon, Gazzetta dello Sport have looked at both teams’ credentials after that game, stating that both are Scudetto competitors. The hosts are unbeaten, whilst the Diavolo are defensively solid on the pitch and principle. Scoring will be tough, whilst their ideas are clear, you know who and how they will play.
Finding an answer to get over the line is rather easy, it seems, and it is also visible. Ultimately, Milan need a striker; Santiago Gimenez moves well, but he does not have the final product, at least not yet.
From this game, the Pink paper states that the Rossoneri have a better chance of the title this season, because they are more established. They went home as the sadder of the two teams. Now, they must find a solution. However, they have taken four from six points against the Scudetto possibilities. A great return.
