AC Milan have the opportunity to get six points in six days on Friday, and they will hope to secure another home win.
Playing at San Siro so far this season has been largely positive. Barring the opening day defeat, Milan have won every game at home, and this weekend’s victory against Fiorentina proved to be one of the biggest so far.
The Curva Sud returned, truly, with the fans waving banners and flags as they have done for so long, and the Rossoneri fought hard to get three big points. Rafael Leao also provided some big moments, showing he is potentially back to his best.
Gilardino previews the game
On Friday, they will face a Pisa side who are yet to win away from home, claiming only a point on the road so far. So, the Diavolo will hope to extend those struggles with another solid performance.
Former Milanista Alberto Gilardino is already aware of the struggles that his team faces, though, as MilanNews relays.
“We must prepare as always and focus on getting points in Milan too. We know it will be a very difficult match, but we have to get them everywhere. Playing at the Meazza can give us self-confidence. We must thrive in difficult situations. The desire is there.”
