“Have many champions” – Bari defender previews ‘very difficult’ Milan test

AC Milan have been drawn against Bari in the first round of the Coppa Italia this weekend. Today, the clash has been previewed.

There are a lot of expectations that start this weekend. Milan, in front of a packed San Siro, require a big performance. Naturally, there are fears of a hangover from last season. However, these must quickly be put to bed.

It is not an impossible task, and the Rossoneri can start the season strongly with a strong result against Bari. Though, they must be aware that there can be bumps in the road, and ensure that they do not crash into them.

Today, Dimitrios Nikolaou, a defender for their first round opponents, has spoken about the game and Milan Press have relayed his words.

“We’re in the build-up phase, we’re finding our path with our coach. On Sunday, we’ll have a match that we all know will be very difficult, against an opponent who is superior to us in many categories. But we’ll give it our all, we’ll do our best, and we’ll try to do our best.”

It is a big chance for a cupset, and Bari will be well up for the clash. But, there can be no chance of that happening from a Diavolo perspective.
