HLN: Jashari has agreement with Brugge over exit but record bid is needed – the situation

Ardon Jashari has an agreement in place with Club Brugge that could facilitate his exit, but AC Milan must raise their bid.

As we wrote about at length recently, the Jashari saga has descended into a farcical soap opera. Neither club wants to back down while the midfielder is caught in the middle of a tug of war, all while the dust settles after a media skirmish and he is still not training.

Record bid needed

According to HLN, it was known the negotiations between Milan and Club Brugge to bring Jashari to Italy would not be short and easy, but things are taking a bit too long with neither side moving an inch.

The Belgian club are denying Jashari’s sale at the moment because they believe the offer of €32.5m plus bonuses is still not enough. They want €40m, which means a higher base and bonus package from the Rossoneri.

The midfielder has thus begun to force the issue a bit, training alone and even skipping the traditional squad photo. He wants to pressure his club into accepting Milan’s offer, but Brugge will not be so easily blackmailed.

However, according to the source, Jashari has apparently reached an agreement with his contract holders: if a record offer materialises, he will be allowed to go. In other words, it would have to be around the €40m that the Belgian side want.
