There could well be another transfer negotiation involving AC Milan that takes place in Belgium, as talks are on over Tolu Arokodare.
According to HLN, Milan have set their sights on Arokodare. The 24-year-old was the top scorer in the Jupiler Pro League last season, netting 17 times, and they claim that he ‘is (logically) open to a move to the Rossoneri’.
Initial contact has been made, and there is the distinct possibility that he could become ‘Genk’s next multi-million pound sale’. It is ‘written in the stars’ that the Nigerian international will leave the Cegeka Arena this summer and move to a more prestigious league.
‘Eager to make the move’
Premier League sides Fulham and Burnley have already made inquiries, but according to sources HLN have access to, Milan now approached Genk for their prized forward. Tolu himself is ‘eager to make the move’.

Genk are willing to consider their options, too. They had an agreement with the striker but also wants top dollar for their top scorer, who scored 21 times last season across all competitions. Initial contact has been made.
Sander Berge, at €25m (to Sheffield United in 2020), is still the Limburg club’s most expensive outgoing but it is ‘quite possible that the club record will be broken’.
Tolu joined Genk from French club Amiens in January 2023 for €5m and is under contract until mid-2027. He’s not the only striker linked with Milan, however: the report names Victor Boniface (formerly of Union SG, now Leverkusen) as being on their radar.
