Arsenal returns to the Emirates on Saturday for its first home match of the 2025/26 Premier League season.
Leeds United, on the back of Monday’s win over Everton, is the visitor, and both sides could finish the day top of the table if they take three points. That would certainly lay down an early marker for the Gunners, who have finished second in each of the last three campaigns.
Last weekend’s opener - the 1-0 win at Manchester United - was a mixed bag for Mikel Arteta’s side. Defensively, it was another masterclass from Arsenal as it prevented the hosts from creating many clear-cut chances at Old Trafford, but in possession, the Gunners lacked rhythm and penetration.
With that in mind, all eyes will be on Viktor Gyokeres after his underwhelming debut. With the news this week of Kai Havertz’s injury, the Swede is expected to retain his place in the starting line-up.
What time is kick-off?
The game begins at 5:30 pm in the UK, which is a 12:30 pm start for those on US Eastern time, while that’s 9:30 am Pacific Time.
Is the game on TV?
Yes - the match will be broadcast live on Sky Sports in the UK and can be streamed via Sky Go. For US viewers, the game is available on NBC Sports and can be streamed online via Peacock.

Team news
Arteta confirmed in Friday’s press conference that Havertz remains absent through injury but did not put a timeline on his return. Arsenal has turned to Eberechi Eze following the German’s injury, but he is not expected to be signed in time to play on Saturday.
In defense, there are concerns about Ben White’s fitness after he was replaced with a knock at Old Trafford, while Arteta confirmed Jurrien Timber continues to have his minutes managed as he recovers from ankle surgery in May. That could see Cristhian Mosquera handed an Arsenal debut.
Christian Norgaard is not yet back from a minor knock, while Gabriel Jesus remains a long-term absentee.
As for Leeds, Ethan Ampadu has been ruled out after sustaining a knee injury against Everton on Monday.
Manager Daniel Farke said Noah Okafor and Dominic Calvert-Lewin could be in line to make their debuts, although the latter is continuing to build up his fitness after a prolonged summer break. Jaka Bijol is available after missing the win over Everton through suspension.
