After Arsenal lost at home to Bournemouth on Saturday, Manchester City could cut the gap to six points at the top of the standings by beating Chelsea — and doing Liverpool a favor.

The Reds are battling for the Champions League places at the moment, and though they won against Fulham on Saturday, any dropped points for Chelsea would be welcome. Pep Guardiola's side has no margin for error either.

The game will take place at Stamford Bridge with Chris Kavanagh the referee. The reverse fixture at the Etihad Stadium finished 1-1, with Tijjani Reijnders and Enzo Fernandez scoring, the latter grabbing a stoppage-time equalizer.

In the UK, the game will be shown live on Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Main Event. It can be streamed via their services and NOW TV. In the US, the match is set to be screened by the USA Network.

Chelsea will be without Fernandez, who remains suspended by his own team. Filip Jorgensen, Levi Colwill, Reece James, Trevoh Chalobah and Jamie Gittens are all injured.

For Manchester City, Guardiola will be unable to call upon John Stones, Josko Gvardiol and Ruben Dias. Each are set to be out for the next few weeks with various issues.

There have been suggestions this week that Bernardo Silva will be leaving at the end of the season, but that is not yet confirmed.

"It looks like a farewell press conference for Bernardo — he didn't tell me!" Guardiola insisted. "He's not the tallest one, he doesn't make 50 goals a season or 50 assists.

"These types of players with the spotlight that everybody talks about but from my point of view from the nine years I know he knows what the team requires.

"I'm pretty sure all the managers he has had would say how much they love him because he is always thinking, incredibly competitive, fire inside always in the toughest moments on the biggest stages, he is always there.

"Big, big games, it's not about playing good or playing bad, it is being yourself and being not afraid.

"He has been an incredible signing for us and I would love him to stay and finish his career here but he's going to decide his decision when he is going to decide.

"An incredible signing for minutes and titles and especially in bad moments. I define players in bad moments when everything is difficult how he always made a step up and said I'm here to help."
