Unfortunately for anyone hoping to watch in the UK, the game won't be available to watch on TV, with it falling under the 3 pm blackout for Premier League matches.

Early team news

Chelsea remains without Cole Palmer, with the England international looking unlikely to play again until at least December as his groin injury persists.

The Blues are also without Benoit Badiashile, Liam Delap, Levi Colwill and Dario Essugo, while Malo Gusto is out suspended for today’s game, having been sent off in last weekend’s 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest.

As for Sunderland, the visitors look set to be without six players, including Omar Alderete, who is following concussion protocols after sustaining a head injury.

Habib Diarra, Romaine Mundle, Dennis Cirkin, Aji Alese and Leo Hjelde are also set to miss out.
