How to watch Liverpool vs Crystal Palace in US and UK - TV channel, live stream, early team news

Liverpool has played its final friendly of the summer, and the Community Shield is next a game where Arne Slot's preparations for the new Premier League campaign can continue.

"Normally, you have to play numerous games before you can win something," the Liverpool head coach said ahead of the game. "If it's the League Cup, FA Cup, let alone [the] Premier League or Champions League, normally you win something in the end of the season.

"Now we have a chance to win something in the beginning of the season. Unfortunately, we face a very good Crystal Palace that have been very difficult to win against for us, because we played 1-1 against them in the last game of the season."

In the UK, the game is set to be shown on TNT Sports rather than a terrestrial channel. It can also be streamed via the TNT Sports app for those who are on the go.

In the US, the match will be televised by ESPN, where it can be streamed via its online service. The kick-off time is 3pm in the UK, which is 10am ET.

Crystal Palace will be without long-term absentees Chadi Riad and Cheick Doucoure but Oliver Glasner will have a full roster to select from aside from that.

Eagles boss Glasner has called for some more additions to be made but it has been a quiet summer for Crystal Palace in terms of incomings. Importantly, though, it has kept most of its star men, at least until this point.

Eberechi Eze, Marc Guehi, Jean-Phillipe Mateta, Dean Henderson and Adam Wharton are all still there, for example. Daniel Munoz and Daichi Kamada will look to build on good campaigns too.

Eze, however, could yet move to Arsenal. He has a release clause that will leave Crystal Palace powerless if it is triggered. Guehi, meanwhile, is someone that Liverpool has considered at center-back.

In terms of Liverpool team news, Slot has only two players missing. Defenders Conor Bradley and Joe Gomez are both sidelined through injury, meaning Jeremie Frimpong is likely to start at full-back.

Virgil van Dijk missed the final friendlies through illness but he has been back in training since. Alisson Becker, meanwhile, had a personal matter to attend to in Brazil but he is back available again too.

Summer signings Florian Wirtz, Hugo Ekitike and Milos Kerkez could all join Frimpong in the starting XI. It remains to be seen what other business Liverpool can get over the line before the September 1 deadline.

Crystal Palace, though, are good at defending in a low block and counter-attacking. The game should, therefore, be a good barometer of where Liverpool is at after a big summer.
