Manchester City will be aiming to strengthen its Champions League hopes later tonight as it takes on Borussia Dortmund in its latest league phase encounter.

Mateo Kovacic is the only expected absentee for City, with the midfielder out with an ankle injury. Erling Haaland will hope to continue his remarkable scoring form this season, having already bagged 17 goals in just 13 games across the Premier League and Champions League.
As for Dortmund, three players are expected to be out, with Niklas Sule, Julian Brandt and Julien Duranville all out through injury. Nico Schlotterbeck is a doubt with illness, with the center-back set to have plenty of eyes on him amid recent transfer rumors.
