Liverpool could welcome Alexander Isak back into the squad after he returned to training on Friday, but the Sweden international will not start the game.

Alisson will be absent again, but is in line to return in Liverpool's first game following the international break, at home to Nottingham Forest.

Jeremie Frimpong remains sidelined and is likely to be out until December, while Giovanni Leoni is a long-term absentee with a serious knee injury.
