How to watch Man City vs Sunderland in US and UK - TV channel, live stream, early team news

1 day ago 37

Manchester City will be looking to stay in touch with Arsenal at the top of the Premier League table as it takes on Sunderland today - and maybe even draw closer to the Gunners.

With Mikel Arteta's side playing earlier on Saturday against Aston Villa, Pep Guardiola will be hoping his side will have the chance to narrow the gap to just two points. Erling Haaland and co have been in free-scoring form lately, even if they made things a little more nervy for themselves in their 5-4 win at Fulham in midweek.

They come up against this season's surprise package, with Sunderland defying the odds to sit just a point off the top four after a superb start to the season, and having picked up a point at Liverpool on Wednesday, Regis Le Bris will be aiming to spring an even bigger result today.

Here's everything you need to know about how to watch Manchester City vs Sunderland in the United States and UK today.

What time is kick-off?

It's an early 3 pm kick-off UK time at the Etihad Stadium.

For fans in the US, that means the game starts at 10 am Eastern Time and 7 am Pacific Time.

Is the game on TV?

The game will unfortunately not be available for viewers in the UK, with it coming under the blackout which prevents 3 pm games from being shown live on television.

Fans in the US will be able to watch all the action though, with live coverage and streaming available via Peacock.

Early team news

Rodri remains out for Manchester City, having struggled with a hamstring injury throughout the season so far.

Mateo Kovacic is also missing for Guardiola's side, which is otherwise up to its full complement of players.

As for Sunderland, Habib Diarra, Aji Alese and Ahmed Abdullahi are all out, while Leo Hjelde and Dennis Cirkin are doubts, although the pair look to be closing in on returns after featuring the Black Cats' U21s.
