How to watch Port Vale vs Arsenal in US and UK - TV channel, live stream details

Arsenal will face League One side Port Vale today as it looks to get its Carabao Cup run off to a good start.

The Premier League giants will travel to Vale Park on the back of their 1-1 draw to Manchester City at the Emirates Stadium at the weekend. While it was the Gunners who left the stadium happier thanks to Gabriel Martinelli's late equaliser, they now sit five points behind league leaders Liverpool after just five games played.

Mikel Arteta's side remains one of the favourites to capture the league title but could find a good opportunity in the domestic cups to end their six-year drought for a trophy. The Carabao Cup, which the north London side have not won since the 1992/93 season, could be that perfect opportunity.

However, they'll have to get through Port Vale first who've already won two games to get to the third round. Consecutive 1-0 wins against Blackpool and Championship side Birmingham City have seen the third-tier side awarded with a home tie against the Gunners.

Ahead of tonight's clash, here's everything you need to know about how to watch Port Vale vs Arsenal in the US and UK today.

What time is kick-off?

The game is set to kick off at 8pm UK time at Vale Park. That news will certainly go down well with US fans given they won't be required to get up early as is the case with most Premier League matches.

For those stateside tuning into the third-round clash, it's slated for a 3pm start Eastern Time, while Pacific Time will be 12 noon.

Is the game on TV?

Fans across the globe will be able to watch the game. UK-based supporters can tune into the cup clash on Sky Sports. Coverage of the match begins at 7pm BST on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Ultra HDR ahead of the kick-off at 8pm.

For those tuning in via a live stream, Sky Sports subscribers can do so through via the Sky Go app. For fans across the pond, they can watch the action live and stream it on Paramount+.

Paramount+ offers plans starting at 7.99 and allows you to stream tons of movies, shows, and live television. You can stream the NFL on CBS, UEFA Champions League, and more, so you’ll never miss a game.

Early team news

One player who certainly won't feature at Vale Park is Noni Madueke. The England star is out of commission for the next six to eight weeks after suffering a knee injury during Arsenal's 1-1 draw with Manchester City this past weekend.

It's another attacking blow for Arteta who is already without Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus, however, he has been buoyed by the recent return of Bukayo Saka who came on during the game against the Citizens.

Saka could be in line for his first start since coming back from injury while Eberechi Eze could join his international team-mate in the starting line-up after coming on against Pep Guardiola's side on Sunday.

There could be a debut for Kepa Arrizabalaga who is likely to replace compatriot David Raya between the sticks. The ex-Chelsea goalkeeper hasn't yet played for the Gunners but could feature against the League One side.

Despite sitting 19th in the table, Port Vale have won their last two games with Devante Cole their biggest goal threat with the striker, son of Manchester United icon Andy Cole, having scored three goals this season.
