Manchester City midfielder Tijjani Reijnders says that he hopes that AC Milan win the Scudetto, but admitted Napoli look good for a repeat.
Reijnders left Milan to join City at the beginning of the summer in a big-money move that could reach over €70m if the bonus targets are met. So far it looks like they will be, given how well the Dutchman has started life in the Premier League.
He has started all four Premier League matches at the start of the 2025-26 season and he also got the nod for the 2-0 win over Napoli in the Champions League on Thursday night. Reijnders has racked up three goal contributions already, too.
Speaking to Livescore, the former AZ Alkmaar man was asked who he thinks will win the Serie A title this year, and he put forward his former club Milan as well as last night’s opponents.
“Difficult because the season just started. But what I’ve seen now is Napoli who have won three out of three and are doing really good. But of course, I hope that Milan will win. We will see at the end of the season.”
