“If Modric can fly with us, so can you” – Milan star involved in Ryanair social media joke

AC Milan midfielder Luka Modric has ended up as the subject of a viral social media post, along with his compatriot Mario Pasalic.

The account Croatian Football News reported that Modric and Pasalic had arrived in the Croatian capital Zagreb from Bergamo Orio del Serio airport after taking a low-cost Ryanair flight. They described it as ‘a surprise for other passengers’, and understandably so.

Ryanair, as they often do on social media, provided a response. The airline wrote: “If Modric can fly with us, so can you.”
