Former Tottenham star Andy Reid did not like what Igor Tudor did after seeing his side beat Atletico Madrid on Wednesday.
Tudor finally picked up his first win as Tottenham boss in his sixth game in charge, albeit it came in a losing cause as far as the Champions League tie was concerned, with Atletico emerging 7-5 winners on aggregate.
Given that the Lilywhites have not won a single league game in 2026, and the home fans have been starved of decent performances, there were some big positives to take for Spurs from Wednesday’s result.
Tottenham are showing signs that they may have turned a corner, but their interim boss has been told he should have done something different after the final whistle.

Igor Tudor criticised for not applauding Tottenham fans after the final whistle
The Spurs fans found their voice yesterday, which has not often been the case at home this season, with the supporters responding to seeing the side play with intensity and attacking intent.
However, Andy Reid was not too pleased that Tudor marched straight into the tunnel at the full-time whistle instead of applauding the Spurs faithful.
The former Tottenham midfielder told BBC Radio 5 Live (18/03/26): “I thought it was a bit unnecessary from Tudor [to walk straight through the tunnel].
“He hasn’t had great success yet so you pick up a win tonight, let’s get the fans on board and give them a clap so when they turn up here on Sunday they are behind the team. He’s lost from a tie and is out of the Champions League but he needs to take any positivity he can get. “
Reid warns Spurs ahead of Nottingham Forest showdown
The win over Atletico means that Tottenham are now unbeaten in 26 straight home European games, having won 22 of them, in a run stretching back to 2020.
However, Reid has now warned his former club that it will be a completely different type of game when Forest come to N17 this Sunday.
The Irishman added: “If you look at what Atletico Madrid did, they knew they had the advantage so didn’t really go after the game which gave Tottenham the opportunity to get something. It will be completely different on Sunday, two teams that are really struggling to find form.”
