AC Milan and Inter are hoping to sign the deed for San Siro on Tuesday, November 4th, according to a report this morning.

There has been a lot said about the stadium recently, and with it being delayed, there has probably been a few left concerned. However, it seems that the delay will only be a minimum one, leaving a lot of time before the deadline comes into effect.

New deadline set

As was reported this morning, the financials of the deal just need to be sorted now, with the issue not with either of the clubs, nor those at Palazzio Marino. Instead, it regards the payment of almost €100 million.

Initially, the first payment was due to be around €73 million, but with VAT, fees and past debts, it rises to that figure, which will be paid bank in installments.

Now, Il Giornale (via MilanNews) reports that the deal for the stadium should be completed on Tuesday, November 4th – which is way before the actual deadline. Any further delays would add massive risk to the situation, so this is the date that is being targeted.

There are no worries about meeting this later deadline, though, so it should just be a case of plain sailing now.
