‘It’s a great battle’ – Capello includes Milan in Scudetto conversation with Allegri

AC Milan seem to be a potential candidate for the Scudetto, thanks to the start under Massimiliano Allegri this season.

It is difficult not to get excited about the season based on the results so far. Milan have been exceptional, barring that opening day defeat and maybe the draw against Juventus. However, the caveat to the last result is that now the expectations are higher.

The fact that the Rossoneri can feel frustrated with a draw against another team that will at least be in the Champions League picture is fantastic, and a clear sign of their progress. In six months, perhaps that draw will be more frustrating. However, to be in that position now is good.

“I expect something more: there are four teams fighting for the title. There are teams that are under construction and are doing well. The two that everyone was waiting for without problems, Napoli and Inter, then there’s Juventus and Roma, who are a surprise. And then there’s Milan. So it’s a great battle.”
