“It was a fair goal!” – Stefano’s instant reaction to Milan 2-2 Sassuolo

Stefano reacts to AC Milan’s disappointing draw against Sassuolo straight after the full-time whistle. Once again, the Rossoneri have themselves to blame in many respects but the referee also made a shocking call…

Milan failed to clinch what would have been another big win, thus putting first place in the standings at risk (Napoli are playing as things stand). Furthermore, it was another game against a newly-promoted side in which the Rossoneri struggled massively.

Two goals conceded at home against Sassuolo is far too much, taking the totally newly-promoted tally up tpo sic (!) conceded goals. On the flip side, had the referee not disallowed Christian Pulisic’s 3-1 goal, the outcome could have been very different.

Indeed, Milan had some momentum after the fantastic brace from Davide Bartesaghi and a third goal could have made all the difference. Clearly, the referee made a big mistake by disallowing that one, as there wasn’t enough contact.
