Jashari hoping for ‘a good match together’ with Modric in Milan-Como

Ahead of the clash between AC Milan and Como this evening, Ardon Jashari spoke to the media and shared his thoughts on playing from start.

Following the narrow win against Pisa, Milan are facing yet another difficult task this evening as they are up against Como. Cesc Fabregas’ men are out for revenge after the 1-3 defeat in the reverse fixture, while the Rossoneri need to win to remain in the Scudetto discussion.

Ardon Jashari is playing from start for the first time in a month, teaming up with Luka Modric and Samuele Ricci in midfield, and he spoke to DAZN just a few minutes ago (via MilanNews). It’s also his first time starting with the Croatian, as he was keen to point out.

What are your thoughts on tonight’s game?

“It will be a great match. Como are a strong team, but we hope to win, and we can’t wait to play.”

You will play with Modric. What are your duties?

“It’s the first time starting with Luka, so I hope we will have a good match together. He’s a fantastic player. We will see how the game goes; we will have to adapt,” he concluded.

No doubt, all Milan fans will be watching the midfield closely in this one, especially since a lot of running is expected from them. The reverse fixture proved that Como are incredibly good at moving between the lines, so the trio will need to be on their toes.
