Jashari, Pulisic and Rabiot: Milan to capitalise on actual break ahead of Inter derby

The international break is coming up and for AC Milan, it will be an opportunity to recharge their batteries and, above all, to recover some of their stars.

The last few weeks have been rather strange for Milan, between disappointing results, a strong win against Roma and injury struggles. Last night’s draw against Parma hasn’t exactly raised the mood either, which is never ideal just before an international.

On the other hand, this time out, the international break won’t just be filled with anxiety for Milan. Christian Pulisic and Adrien Rabiot got injured the last time they were on international duty but now, they will remain at Milanello.

An actual break

After Milan made their stance clear with Didier Deschamps (France) and Mauricio Pochettino (USA), it was decided that both Pulisic and Rabiot will remain at Milanello during the upcoming break. Great news for the Rossoneri, of course, who will want their stars in top condition.

Pulisic got some minutes against Parma, of course, so it will be a case of getting back to top shape for the big derby against Inter after the break. Rabiot is also hoping to make it back, even if he didn’t play last night, so the break is coming at a good time for him.

Another player that we perhaps should keep an eye on is Ardon Jashari, who has been back on the bench in the last few games. Milan will obviously proceed with caution, but with two weeks to prepare for the derby, he could potentially get some minutes against the Nerazzurri.
