Alex Jimenez has reacted to sealing his move to AFC Bournemouth, revealing that he always held a Premier League dream.

Over the weekend reports emerged stating that Milan and Bournemouth had shaken hands on a deal that would see the Spaniard head for the Premier League. On deadline day, the official communications arrived from both clubs.

The statement from the Rossoneri confirmed that it is indeed an initial loan deal but with certain conditions being met it will become a permanent switch for the former Real Madrid man.

Since then reports have stated it is appearance-based conditions that will decide if it becomes permanent or not, more specifically if he starts around half the Premier League games for the Cherries.

Some comments were published on the official website of Bournemouth after the deal was made official, and Jimenez spoke about the move to the south coast.

“I’m very happy. I’m excited about this project and that they’ve welcomed me so well. I can’t wait to start training with the team and playing with the team,” he said.

“It has always been one of my dreams to play in the Premier League and as long as I can fulfil a dream, I will be happy.”
