Ardon Jashari remains one of the main targets of AC Milan, but negotiations at Club Brugge are at a standstill. So much so that, according to a journalist, Inter tried to hijack the Rossoneri’s pursuit yesterday.
Milan’s pursuit of Jashari has, sadly, turned into a classic mercato saga with no obvious outcome in sight. The Rossoneri are still pushing for the midfielder’s arrival, having tabled a hefty offer, but Club Brugge are holding out for money.
As such, we are soon approaching a point where Milan will have to make a permanent decision on the matter, either by increasing their offer one more time or by abandoning the pursuit. If the latter, Club Brugge would have to try their luck elsewhere…
Inter’s attempt shot down
According to the journalist Sacha Tavolieri, Inter had a meeting with Club Brugge yesterday (as was also captured by journalists present) and during that sit-down, they made an offer for Jashari. Indeed, they offered €30m plus the youngster Aleksandar Stankovic.

Brugge’s response to this wasn’t mentioned in the report, but Tavolieri stated that Jashari immediately refused the idea of joining the Nerazzurri. He only wants to join Milan and continues to push for the move, even if the Rossoneri will need to do something more.
As for Inter, they have already shifted focus from Jashari, offering €22m plus Stankovic for the centre-back Joel Ordonez instead.
