Journalist: Morata will report for Galatasaray training but reiterates Como desire – the situation

Alvaro Morata will report for Galatasaray’s preseason training camp but he still hopes to get a move to Como, it is claimed.

Like many of the transfer fronts that Milan are involved in, the Morata situation seems to have somewhat stalled over the past few days. It all starts from an important point: the former Real Madrid man wants to join Como, but his loan must be terminated ahead of time.

Morata pushing for exit

According to Turkish journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu, Morata is expected at Galatasaray’s training camp today, although he hasn’t changed his mind about his future. The striker wants to end his loan early, which expires in January 2026, to join his friend Cesc Fabregas at Como.

The Spaniard reiterated his intentions in the past few hours to the Turkish club’s management, who have been negotiating with Milan for several days to terminate Morata’s loan, but so far an agreement hasn’t been reached.

For Milan, it is reported that around €10m is at stake over this deal getting done. The fellow Lombardy club are willing to pay that amount to sign him permanently immediately, and that is why the Rossoneri directors are pushing for a solution too, given it would be added to the transfer pot.
