Jurgen Klopp has sent a message to Liverpool's supporters after touching down in England ahead of this weekend's Legends game at Anfield between Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund.

Klopp will assist fellow former Reds boss Kenny Dalglish in the Liverpool dugout at Anfield for Saturday's charity game.

Taking to Instagram as he journeyed from Manchester Airport to Liverpool on Thursday, Klopp shared a video, saying: "Hi guys, we are back. From Manchester to Liverpool. My favourite direction actually.

"I'm looking forward to the next three days, with the highlight being the Legends game between Liverpool and Dortmund, my two former clubs.

"I can't wait to see a lot of friends. I can't wait to meet you all, to be honest. It feels like ages ago, but it wasn't even a year ago that I was here. I'm so surprised the weather is OK!

"A lot of wonderful things are coming up: the foundation and football, seeing the AXA and Anfield. I can't wait. Hope you're good and see you soon."
