Juventus manager confirms Vlahovic ‘can leave’ amid repeated Milan links

Juventus’ General Manager Damien Comolli has confirmed that Dusan Vlahovic can leave the club this summer, amid links with AC Milan.

Vlahovic is now into the final year of his contract and it has been made clear that he is not part of Juve’s plans moving forward. Thus, they must find a buyer this summer or they run the risk of him leaving for free at the end of the season.

It is no secret that Milan are working to sign a new striker, and the name that has been linked above all others for weeks now is that of Vlahovic, who Massimiliano Allegri knows well from their time together with the Bianconeri.

However, the €12m net per year salary that the Serbia international gets is problematic. Thus, a meeting point needs to be found between all parties, which is never easy when rival clubs are involved.

Now, Comolli has discussed the situation in an interview with Sky Sport Italia on Thursday and he confirmed that he can depart but only for the right price.

“He can leave if a suitable offer comes in, but at the moment, it has not arrived,” Comolli said (via Football Italia).
