Recently, AC Milan have been linked with a move for LAFC forward Son Heung-Min, and a Korean teammate has spoken about the chances of it happening.
In the past few months, it seems that Milan have become more open to shifting their transfer methodology, after the success of this summer, so far. Luka Modric and Adrien Rabiot are not RedBird signings.
Instead of younger players with resale potential, they are experienced winners that the Rossoneri have tried to produce, rather than bringing them in themselves. So, there are now suggestions that this way of acting in the mercato may be continued.
Son to Milan?
Bernardo Silva and Robert Lewandowski have both been linked, ahead of their contracts expiring next summer. In the meantime, though, there is a chance that the Diavolo make some moves in January, and a move for Son could also happen.
Speaking to MilanNews, Oh Hyeon-gyu, a teammate in the Korean national team, commented on the rumours.
Oh, there’s been a lot of talk about Son Heung-Min possibly going on loan to AC Milan. Knowing him and spending time with him in the national team, do you agree with these rumors?
“I confirm, but it’ll be up to him to decide. Anything is possible.”

In recent years at Tottenham, he was in a declining phase… Does Son still have the level for a championship like Serie A?
“He still has the quality! And that makes me think he could do well at a big club like Milan or somewhere else. He’ll decide whether to go to Milan during the MLS break.”
