AC Milan and Juventus will face off at least twice next season. However, they could play-out a battle in the mercato for a Manchester United struggler.
Signing a striker is the aim of a few clubs in Italy this summer, as we have already seen. Milan and Napoli both considered moves for Darwin Nunez, though it seems he is heading to the later. However, it will not be the only example this summer.
As time progresses, the Rossoneri are conitnuing to evaluate the idea of signing Rasmus Hojlund, who left Atalanta two summers ago to join Manchester United. Since, he has failed to really hit the ground running, and could leave for Italy this summer.
‘Juve-Milan for Hojlund’
As La Stampa write, via MilanNews, the Dane is being courted by both the Bianconeri and the Diavolo, with both considering their options. Santiago Gimenez and Dusan Vlahovic are not certainties in either case, so the mercato is being studied.

So, this could lead to both fighting over the out-of-favour striker, with the headline reading that it is between the two for the former Atalanta man. Considering Milan’s interest in Vlahovic, perhaps this could be a tactic to aid their bid for the Serbian. We shall have to wait and see.
