Today, the Minister of Sport has commented on the game set to take place between AC Milan and Como, and his position is clear.
Milan’s game against Como will remain a topic of discussion for a while yet, and even after the game is supposed to take place, it will probably still be referenced. After all, it is a monumental decision in European football.
Right now, it seems impossible for a decision to be called either way, with Pietro Mazzara stating that things were on a ‘very thin’ line. Especially after the recent comments from Massimiliano Allegri in opposition to the game taking place half the world away.
External pressure is certainly present to change the plans, put it that way…

Speaking on the sidelines of the De Sanctis Award, the Minister for Sport and Youth, Andrea Abodi, spoke about the decision to move the game down under, and Calciomercato.com have relayed his words.
“Milan-Como in Perth? Everyone has their say. I think the League’s decision rests on the possibilities, and I believe we need to be able to grasp the positive aspects.
“Of course, there’s a lack of respect for the fans, because football makes sense when your fans are there, and here we’re asking for a huge sacrifice, not just financially, because I think what the fans are complaining about is the fact that this isn’t taken into account.”
