Leao reveals what Allegri and Ibrahimovic told him regarding streams: “A good reason”

Rafael Leao has revealed that Massimiliano Allegri and Zlatan Ibrahimovic have told him not to do as many live streams.

Leao’s live streams have generated headlines recently, such as when he commented on the then-imminent arrival of Victor Boniface from Bayer Leverkusen. After voicing his support, the Nigerian would then fail his medical and the move would fall apart.

After following Milan’s win over Lecce from home because of calf injury that will also see him refuse a call-up from Portugal, Leao provided a very funny moment during his live broadcast on his Twitch channel.

He emulated a post-match interview in which he commented on the Rossoneri’s victory over Lecce, with his comments relayed by MilanNews.

“Good evening everyone. The team won today. Great win. I disappeared because the coach spoke to me (laughs), and told me ‘Don’t do it often’ [live broadcast], and so did Ibra. So, in my opinion, today is a good reason to stream. Don’t worry, we won. So… yeah.”

“I’m very happy with the win. The team played well, and Lecce is a very difficult stadium. We knew it would be a tough match, but the team played well. 2-0, we deserved to win, and we need to continue on this path to finish first, up there.”

Leao also updated fans on his physical condition: “I’m fine (laughs). I’m behind the team. I’m trying to work to get back to training with the group as soon as possible and help my teammates with goals and assists again.”

Modric assisted, Loftus-Cheek scored and Pulisic came off the bench to score too: “I think everyone on the bench, who’s starting, is doing a great job. The coach is very good (laughs).”
