Ahead of the game between AC Milan and Parma, Rafael Leao spoke to the media and shared his thoughts on the Rossoneri’s good opportunity.
Following the win against Roma last time out, Milan can certainly benefit from a boost in confidence as they take on Parma tonight. The international break is around the corner as well, meaning the Rossoneri will be extra keen on securing all three points.
Speaking to Sky Italia, as transcribed by MilanNews, the Milan star Leao shared his thoughts on the importance of tonight’s game. He also discussed his relationship with Massimiliano Allegri, praising the manager for his ability to help the young players.
On the game…
“It’s an important match for us. We have a chance to win and get points. We want to start strong, we want to score early because it’s never easy to play here.”
On his form…
“I always try to help the team. I’m working hard with the coach, he’s helping me a lot and I have to thank him. He knows how to help me on and off the pitch.”
On Allegri…
“We talk a lot about football and life in general. He’s experienced, he knows how to manage us young players well, and having someone like him is important.”
Leao is starting up front alongside Christopher Nkunku, who’s yet to fully impress with the red and black shirt. The No.10, meanwhile, has been in very good form lately and was crucial last time out with his fantastic assist for Strahinja Pavlovic’s winner.
