Liam Gallagher fires three-word reply to Noel after football club 'snub' Oasis frontman

Liam and Noel Gallagher support Manchester City - and now a football club with an unusual link to the multiple-time Premier League champions has sent them a gift.

Liam Gallagher has responded abruptly after Noel Gallagher received a gift from Polish football club Lech Poznań.

The elder brother shared on Thursday that the current champions of Poland had sent him a signed shirt and an accompanying letter. Lech are the team Manchester City and latterly Oasis fans have taken "the Poznan" celebration from, where supporters link arms and bounce up and down while facing away from the pitch or stage.

However, it appears that Liam has yet to receive the same gift. He made that much clear on social media when replying to the post by his brother.

"Thanks to all at Lech Poznań," Noel initially said. "It's been THE highlight of the night all over the world. Even [Man] United fans have been doing it!! UP THE BLUES."

Liam then replied two hours later: "Er, where's mine?" However, it appears they were both sent the same gift, with Lech previously sharing a photo across their social media accounts showing them packing a box with a shirt which has Liam on the back and a letter addressed to him dated September 4.

The letter reads: "In front of you lies a very special gift - a personalised KKS Lech Poznań jersey with your name and the number 12, which in our club is reserved for the fans - our 'twelfth player'!

"As you probably know, we have a lot in common. Just like you, as a devoted Manchester City supporter, we - the fans and staff of Lech - love cheering for our teams, especially when doing 'the Poznan'!

"This year marks the 15th anniversary of the UEFA Europa League ties between our clubs - the very moment when Manchester, and soon after the whole of the UK and the world, discovered how we celebrate football in our city. The term 'The Poznan' even made it into the Cambridge Dictionary!

"We are truly proud that such a great club as Manchester City helped spread the name of our city and team in such a remarkable way. We've seen the recordings from your concerts where you encourage Oasis fans to join in and do 'the Poznan' - and we have to say it really makes a huge impression!

"Perhaps one day you would like to visit our city as well - either to play a show here or experience first-hand the unique atmosphere of a Lech match at our stadium. Please feel free to wear the jersey or simply keep it as a small token of connection between you and our club."
