The number of Liverpool loanees increased to 10 on Tuesday with confirmation that a member of Rob Page's Under-21 squad is set to spend the remainder of the season away from the club

Josh Davidson has completed a loan move from Liverpool to Buxton
Liverpool youngster Josh Davidson has joined non-league side Buxton until the end of the season.
The right-back has played 15 times for Liverpool’s youth teams this term and has been a regular for the Under-21s during their improved form since the turn of the year. However, he has not featured in the club’s last three league games, and the return of Calvin Ramsay from injury has further reduced his playing opportunities.
Davidson joined Liverpool at the age of six and signed a professional contract in October 2022. The defender has yet to play a senior game for the club and will hope to gain valuable first-team experience at Buxton.

Buxton currently competes in the National League North, the sixth tier of English soccer. The club currently sits 11th in the table and beat Leamington 1-0 on Tuesday.
Davidson came on at half-time to make his debut and will hope to inspire Buxton toward a late play-off push.

Davidson played for the Under-21s last month
He is now one of 10 players Liverpool has on loan, and the 20-year-old — who is represented by the same agency as Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson — is also comfortable playing left-back.
Confirming the transfer just hours before, Buxton said via social media: “Buxton FC have agreed a deal to bring in defender Josh Davidson on loan until the end of the season from Liverpool FC.
“A tough and tenacious full-back, Davidson also loves to get forward.
“Josh has been at the Liverpool FC Academy since the age of six. He featured for the U18s as a first-year scholar in 2022-23 and signed his first professional contract that season.
“Josh then stepped up to U21 level in 2023-24 and is a regular member of the squad. Welcome to the Bucks, Josh!”
