Liverpool fans sang the famous Jurgen Klopp chant just a minute into their legends clash against Borussia Dortmund.
The Merseyside giants are hosting the Bundesliga side at Anfield in their annual charity match where all proceeds go directly towards the work being done by the LFC Foundation and Forever Reds.
With the likes of Steven Gerrard, Thiago Alcantara, Kenny Dalglish and Ian Rush present at the game in both playing and management roles, it was the iconic German that was recognised by the sold-out crowd. The game against Dortmund was paused briefly on the 20th minute for both sides to applaud in memory of the late Diogo Jota.

After Liverpool's 2-0 home win over Wolves in the last game of the 2023/24 season, Klopp spoke directly to the fans and opened up about his nine-year tenure and his appreciation of the fans' unwavering support.

At the end of his speech, he then broke out with "Arne Slot, La-La-La-La-La" which actually came before the club's official announcement that the Dutchman was set to join the Premier League outfit.
A year after Klopp's classy move, Slot returned the favour by singing the chant with the German's name included after Liverpool captured the Premier League title following their 5-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur last April.
Explaining his decision to pay tribute to his predecessor, Slot said at the time: "[I chanted Klopp's name] because of what he did before I even arrived here. I think that is something not one manager ever did before.

"So that is what definitely helped me. But apart from that, he helped me even more by the team he left behind and the culture he left behind in that team. The quality the players have was obvious for everyone, but the culture of hard work.
"Not only from the players but also from the staff members, has been incredible, and that is one of the reasons why we could achieve what we have achieved this season. For obvious reasons, I think it was a nice moment to thank him as well."
