Liverpool will face either PSG or Chelsea in the quarter-finals of the Champions League if it can turn the tie around and progress past Galatasaray next midweek.
A goal from Mario Lemina was enough to seal a 1-0 win for the Turkish side in the first leg. Heading into the second, Liverpool is playing catch-up, but it created lots of chances at RAMS Park. Florian Wirtz and Hugo Ekitike, in particular, should have been more clinical.
Should Liverpool find a way of winning and getting through, the Reds now have a slightly clearer idea of potential future opponents down the line, with PSG taking a three-goal lead against Chelsea.

However, Malo Gusto and then Enzo Fernandez pulled Liam Rosenior's side level.
Vitinha and then Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (twice) made it 5-2 to the Parisians on the night, giving Luis Enrique's holders a strong advantage to hold onto at Stamford Bridge.
Elsewhere, Real Madrid has taken a commanding lead against Manchester City. Federico Valverde scored a sensational first-half hat-trick and Vinicius Jr missed a penalty in that game at the Bernabeu.

Earlier in the week, Bayern Munich effectively booked its spot in the next round by hammering Atalanta by six goals to one in Italy, with Michael Olise scoring twice and Harry Kane being left on the bench.
Liverpool or Galatasaray will play either PSG or Chelsea, with the winner of those games looking set to take on either Real Madrid or Bayern Munich in the semi-finals.
"We have to fight, we have to deserve it. We have to earn the next round," Virgil van Dijk said post-match in Turkiye.
"Next week obviously is the decider. We’re at home but we have to show that we want and deserve to go through, first and foremost, in the way we play, defend and attack.

"You have to earn the right. You have to fight for it, the challenges, the second-ball fight.
"In games, we have been showing that, and in some games we have been lacking, and that’s why we have been inconsistent, unfortunately.
"But that’s something we want to improve and aim for. If we want to go through to the next round, we definitely have to show that on Wednesday.
