Liverpool will be looking to recover from three straight losses when the team welcomes Manchester United this weekend.
The Reds have received a significant boost after Arne Slot confirmed on Friday morning that Ryan Gravenberch is available to face Ruben Amorim's team. The midfielder was withdrawn at the interval during the Netherlands' 4-0 victory over Finland on Sunday.
Netherlands manager Ronald Koeman subsequently explained that the Liverpool star had been replaced by Manchester City midfielder Tijjani Reijnders due to a muscular problem. "Ryan indicated he had some minor hamstring problems. Of course, we didn't take any risks with that," he said.
However, delivering an update on Friday, Slot confirmed: "Ryan is completely fit, still has to train, but fit, we are in a good place with the Dutch side."
Gravenberch has received support from current and former Liverpool teammates after posting on Instagram on Thursday.
The ex-Bayern Munich player uploaded several images from his daily routine, showcasing his time at the club, with the Dutch national team, and moments as a new father.
Gravenberch welcomed his first child in August, following the announcement he and partner Cindy Peroti made in May that they were expecting - marking a major life update for the midfielder.
The collection of photographs, accompanied by a love heart emoji, prompted responses from Hugo Ekitike, Ibrahima Konate, Rio Ngumoha, Jeremie Frimpong, Virgil van Dijk, Dominik Szoboszlai, Alexis Mac Allister, Curtis Jones, Andy Robertson, and Milos Kerkez.
Meanwhile, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Harvey Elliott, and Kostas Tsimikas – currently on loan at Aston Villa and AS Roma, respectively – also showed their support by liking the post.
Jurrien Timber of Arsenal, a fellow Dutchman and teammate of Gravenberch, commented: "Long journey."
Last month, Gravenberch opened up about his newfound freedom on the pitch, stating: "It's the coach that gives me the confidence.
"This season, we have more freedom in the midfield. Last season I was only on the six, like deep, deep. Now I can go more forward, which you saw today.
"My strength is also there. I'm happy with that and also happy with the goal.
"He's (Arne Slot) very clear. What comes to his mind, he tells you. And also the tactical part is really good."
