Arne Slot has made two changes to his Liverpool starting line-up against Leeds United from the one that faced Wolverhampton Wanderers last weekend.

A 2-1 win over the Midlands club strengthened Liverpool's hold over fourth place, and with Chelsea and Manchester United dropping points on Tuesday, the midweek clash against Leeds offers the chance for the champions to open up a five-point gap ahead of manager-less Chelsea in fifth.

However, that will not be a straightforward assignment against a Leeds side that is unbeaten in its last five games, and held Liverpool to a draw at the start of December.

Slot was asked in the build-up to the clash at Anfield on new Year's Day whether he can cope with another breath-taking game, and the Dutchman will be delighted to welcome back one of the scorers from that 3-3 draw at Elland Road.

Dominik Szoboszlai's one-match suspension against Wolves ended his record of starting every league match this season. Unsurprisingly, Slot has opted to immediately reintegrate the midfielder into his line-up.

He is one of three changes, with Conor Bradley and Andy Robertson also coming into the line-up.

Bradley recovered from injury in time to be named on the bench at the weekend, and fully fit once again, will line up at right-back against Leeds, with Robertson coming in at left-back for his first Premier League start since December 3.

They will be joined by the usual pairing of Virgil van Dijk and Ibrahima Konate at the heart of defense, along with Alisson between the sticks.

Szoboszlai's return comes at the expense of Alexis Mac Allister, who drops to the bench along with Milos Kerkez and Federico.

The Hungarian is expected to start in a no.10 role, with Ryan Gravenberch and Curtis Jones set to operate in central midfield.

That means Jeremie Frimpong continues in the side and is expected to play higher on the right wing, ahead of Bradley.

Florian Wirtz, fresh from his first Liverpool goal, will operate from an inverted left-wing role.

Hugo Ekitike netted twice in the reverse fixture four weeks ago, and will lead the line once again against Leeds.

Liverpool starting line up: Alisson; Bradley, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson; Gravenberch, Jones; Frimpong, Szoboszlai, Wirtz; Ekitike.

Substitutes : Mamardashvili, Ramsay, Lucky, Kerkez, Nyoni, Mac Allister, Chiesa, Ngumoha, Gakpo.
