Manchester City travel to Liverpool this afternoon as they look to keep the pressure on Arsenal at the top of the Premier League table.

City reached the final of the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night thanks to a 5-1 aggregate victory over Newcastle United. While their cup form has been strong, the Blues have won just one of their last six Premier League matches.

Pep Guardiola has been boosted by a couple of injury returns this week. Ruben Dias is pushing for a place in the starting line-up after returning to training while John Stones is also back with the camp, albeit the trip to Liverpool will likely come too soon for him.

As for Liverpool, they are not in the Premier League title race this season but do need the points if they want to be in the Champions League spots at the end of the campaign. They have their own defensive injury issues with midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai potentially set to start in the back four.
