Liverpool takes on Paris Saint-Germain in the quarterfinals of the Champions League on Tuesday, with the French team boasting a two-goal lead heading into the second leg
Anfield hosts the big game on Tuesday(Image: Getty Images)Liverpool will end this season without silverware if Arne Slot's players fail to overcome Paris Saint-Germain at Anfield on Tuesday.
PSG heads into the second leg of the Champions League quarterfinal with a two-goal lead. The Reds have famously turned over a similar deficit in the European Cup, recovering from three goals down to beat Barcelona and reach the final seven years ago.
Liverpool fans will hope for a similar comeback on Merseyside on Tuesday. Slot believes his players "can do special things" and give the team's supporters something to smile about after a tough season, with the Reds fifth in the Premier League standings.

Barcola back
Paris Saint-Germain could welcome back key attacker Bradley Barcola for Wednesday’s Champions League clash against Liverpool.
The 23-year-old has enjoyed another superb campaign in the French capital and, prior to last week’s quarterfinal first leg at the Parc des Princes, had not missed a single Champions League match this season.
But Barcola suffered an ankle sprain in the last-16 victory over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, which has kept him out of the side for four weeks.
He trained ahead of last week’s match against Liverpool but was deemed not ready to make his return to the squad.
However, that could come at Anfield on Tuesday, with Barcola named in the traveling squad that flew to Merseyside.

Szoboszlai's plea
Dominik Szoboszlai has little patience for any Liverpool supporters who doubt the possibility of a Champions League turnaround against Paris Saint-Germain.
He said: "I'm gonna go all in, trust me. I don't want to be sat here [doing the interview], I want it to be 8 p.m. and to go for it.
"Even though we played two days ago, I can go, no matter what... It's going to be a special night, I can feel it.
"We need to believe, everybody needs to believe. If you don't believe, stay at home."
