Liverpool has welcomed three NFL stars to Anfield for the game against Tottenham.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers safety Antoine Winfield Jr. and Los Angeles Chargers stars Cameron Dicker and Daiyan Henley were seen ahead of kick-off. Dicker’s connection to the Reds especially runs deep — so much so that he pays tribute to Mohamed Salah in every game he plays for the Chargers.
"I chose No. 11 for the Chargers because of Mo Salah," he told the club's website last year. His passion for the Reds began in Asia, where he grew up idolizing the talents of Steven Gerrard and Fernando Torres. That admiration has only deepened since he relocated to the United States in 2011. Meanwhile, a beloved Liverpool hero has also made a rare Anfield appearance.

His dad and brother were United fans, and his mom and him were Liverpool fans, so I had to jump on with them."
Despite his busy schedule with the Chargers and the eight-hour time difference, Dicker always makes time to follow and support the Reds.
When asked about the most unusual place he's followed a Liverpool game, the 24-year-old explains: "It's just got to be in my hotel.
"Probably one of those Sunday mornings in the hotel where I wake up and we have a late game in the afternoon. So I'm just sitting there watching alone, yelling.
"The hard thing during the season is watching games, just because we're playing as well. We're either travelling or in a hotel right before our game, so that's tough."
Dicker’s first-ever visit to Anfield was for the clash with Real Madrid in February 2023, but he first witnessed a victory for the home side as Arne Slot’s men secured a 3-1 win over Southampton.
On his last visit, Dicker requested access to a pitch at the Kirkby Academy for a kicking session, aiming to keep his skills sharp ahead of the Chargers’ spring workouts.
Liverpool is aiming to climb to fourth, while Tottenham looks to fend off the threat of relegation. Arne Slot’s team starts the day in sixth place, level on points with Chelsea in the fight for a top-five finish.
Despite some worrying recent results—including defeats to Wolverhampton Wanderers and Galatasaray —there is still plenty to play for, particularly after Chelsea lost to Newcastle and Aston Villa was beaten by Manchester United.
"After today’s game, we will have only eight league matches left to play, which serves to underline that we are now entering the home straight," Liverpool boss Slot writes in the official matchday program.
"While some of our objectives might have changed since the start of the season, the basic requirement of finishing as high as we can in the league table remains."
