There is a need for Alvaro Morata to leave Galatasaray before he leaves AC Milan. However, there is a hold-up on this.

It is nothing new for transfers to be delayed when loans are involved. After all, we have already seen this with the Morata deal. Initially, Galatasaray had no interest in letting the Spaniard leave and it was only after lengthy negotiations where it was sorted.

Nevertheless, the Turkish club have stalled the deal again. Though, this time, it is not an unreasonable situation.

Still time

Last month, the Turkish giants stated that the Spaniard was their player, and he would not leave for free. Effectively saying that there had to be some gain in it for them. That much is true, they hold the contract for him until January – at the least.

However, this also means that with him being seen as their player, they need to replace him, which is what Daniele Longo reports this morning on his X.

According to the journalist, the club are wanting to finalise another deal before letting the European champion leave the club. In the meantime, Como and Cesc Fabregas are continuing to wait for the deal to happen, with everything already agreed.
