Longo: Lausanne secure Milan youngster Vos on loan with option to buy

Lausanne have more or less reached an agreement with AC Milan for the initial loan transfer of Silvano Vos, according to a report.

Vos joined Milan from Ajax ahead of last season and although the expectations were high, he never met them with the Futuro side. Furthermore, the relegation to Serie D prompted the parties to look for another solution, knowing the level isn’t high enough for the Dutchman.

This morning, it was reported by Matteo Moretto that the 20-year-old is close to joining a Swiss side on loan. Nothing more was mentioned, but now details have arrived on the formula and the club that Vos will join.

Option included in deal

According to Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, Lausanne are expected to finalise the signing of Vos in the coming hours. An agreement has been reached with Milan for a loan with an option to buy, meaning it could be a permanent departure in the end.

Vos was one of the loose ends that Milan wanted to tie up in the coming days, seeing as most of the European market is now closed. Ismael Bennacer was also one of them but he joined Dinamo Zagreb yesterday, leaving just Yacine Adli on the list of midfielders to leave.
