Longo: Milan going ‘all-in’ on Vlahovic after Harder stalemate – the figures

AC Milan are now going ‘all-in’ on Dusan Vlahovic, according to Daniele Longo, and an offer will be submitted to the player in the coming hours.

The striker pursuit continues and after the Harder negotiations hit a stalemate, Milan have seemingly switched their focus to Vlahovic. The Serbian has been linked with a departure from Juventus all summer but as many predicted, it’s only in the last few days that things have heated up.

Multiple sources reported earlier today that Vlahovic is now the primary target for the No.9 role, especially since Max Allegri has requested his arrival. That being said, it remains an operation with relatively high costs.

Contract offer imminent

As stated by Daniele Longo on his YouTube channel, Milan are preparing an offer worth €6m per year for four years to Vlahovic. It will be submitted in the coming hours and the Rossoneri will then take it from there. However, they also know that Juve’s demand is €20m.

One of the obstacles could be a ‘severance payment’ from Juve to the player, as Vlahovic is on a salary of €12m per year this season. The striker feels that some compensation would be appropriate if he were to leave the Bianconeri and cut his salary in half.

It remains to be seen what the outcome will be but for now, Vlahovic’s arrival doesn’t seem impossible. The window closes on Monday evening so we should know more very soon.
