A journalist has provided a further update after breaking the news that AC Milan are in talks over signing Bernardo Silva.
Bernardo Silva’s future has become the subject of a lot of media attention. The Portuguese playmaker’s deal expires at the end of the season and the general consensus is that he is more likely to leave than to stay at present.
As a result, it is no surprise his agent agent Jorge Mendes is now actively monitoring the market to understand what opportunities the player might have. Milan have been in talks, and their relationship with Mendes is good, as seen with the winter arrivals of Sergio Conceicao and Joao Felix.
Talks over Bernardo Silva and Lewandowski
Daniele Longo was the one who broke the story for Calciomercato.com, and he spoke to Radio Rossonera to provide a bit more information on exactly where things stand on the Bernardo front, as well as the Roberto Lewandowski rumours.

“I wanted to clarify some rumours. Bernardo Silva has no intention of renewing his contract with Manchester City. I think he considers his experience there over. We know that everything can change in the coming weeks,” he states.
“The small development is that Tare has been in contact with his agent, but he’s not the only one. There’s also been contact with Lewandowski. From there to talk of a deal, there’s a long way to go. In the wake of the Modric deal, it’s easy to generate excitement, but it’s also an example for other players who aren’t very young.
“Moving to the Italian league, at this pace, could be an interesting solution. I therefore don’t rule out the possibility of Milan making another move like the Modric one, but no more than one, because we know the club prefers players who can be sold.”
